Hosting and technical support

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany (STRATO privacy information). Personal data collected on this website is stored on STRATO's servers. This includes in particular IP addresses, access data (date, time, page requested, browser type) and contact details from the contact form. Our e-mails are also handled by STRATO; their content and metadata (sender, recipient, timestamp) are processed on STRATO's servers.

For the technical support, maintenance and security of the website we additionally use a specialist agency that may have access to this data in the course of its work: wagnergraphics | Torsten Wagner, Büchtingenstraße 20, 38855 Wernigerode, Germany, www.wagnergraphics.de.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the processing serves the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in providing our website securely, quickly and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have concluded data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR with STRATO and with wagnergraphics.

Security firewall

To protect this website against attacks (e.g. brute-force attacks, malware scans, spam bots) we use the plugin "WP Security Ninja" by Web Factory Ltd. The IP address of each visitor is logged temporarily in order to detect attack patterns and block them automatically where necessary. The data is stored for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted automatically. To improve attack detection, information about blocked IP addresses is transmitted to a central database operated by Web Factory Ltd. and shared by all users of the plugin. It is not linked to any other personal data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security and stability of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Image and loading time optimisation (WP Compress)

To make our website load quickly, we use the service WP Compress. It optimises images and other static files (e.g. JavaScript, CSS) and delivers them via a content delivery network (CDN). The technical service provider for the CDN is BunnyWay d.o.o. (BunnyCDN) from Slovenia.

We have configured WP Compress with the option "Strict EU Routing". Processing and delivery therefore take place exclusively via servers within the European Union; no data is transferred to third countries. To deliver the files to your browser, your IP address is processed briefly for technical reasons but not stored permanently. No tracking cookies are set and no user profiles are created.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing our website quickly and without technical errors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with the provider of WP Compress; BunnyCDN is contractually bound as a sub-processor. Further information: WP Compress privacy policy, BunnyCDN privacy policy.

Applications

Application portal coveto: For our job offers and the application process we use the recruiting software coveto provided by coveto ATS GmbH, Alois-Thums-Straße 11, 63667 Nidda, Germany. The job board is embedded on our website. When you open it or apply through it, your details and documents are transmitted directly to coveto and processed there on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with coveto.

Applications by e-mail or post: E-mail transmission is generally not end-to-end encrypted. You are welcome to send particularly sensitive documents by post.

Purpose and legal basis: We process your data (e.g. contact details, CV, certificates) in order to carry out the application process and decide on employment or placement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you voluntarily provide special categories of personal data (e.g. information on a severe disability), we only process them insofar as this is necessary to exercise rights or fulfil obligations under employment law (Art. 9(2)(b) GDPR).

Recipients: Within our company, only the persons involved in the application process have access to your data. It is not passed on to third parties, apart from the service providers named in this privacy statement (coveto, hosting, e-mail).

Retention period: If you are employed, we transfer the necessary data to your personnel file. Otherwise we keep your documents for up to six months after the application process has been completed in order to defend ourselves against possible claims under the German General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). After that they are deleted, unless you have consented to being added to our talent pool.

Talent pool: If no position is currently suitable but your profile is of interest for future vacancies, we will actively ask you whether we may add your documents to our talent pool. Only with your explicit consent will we store them there (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), for a maximum of two years. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by e-mail to office@fmpersonal.de.

Language selection

This website is available in German and English. To keep your chosen language, the WordPress plugin WPML sets a technically necessary cookie. It only contains the language code and is not transferred to third parties (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, Section 25(2) TDDDG).

Consent management

We record and store your cookie settings using the WordPress plugin Complianz. Your choice is stored in a cookie and your IP address is stored in anonymised form in our database so that we can prove your consent (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). No data is passed on to the provider of the plugin.

Our LinkedIn profile

We only refer to our company profile on LinkedIn with a simple link. As long as you do not click the link, no data is transferred to LinkedIn. When you visit our profile, LinkedIn's privacy policy applies. We are jointly responsible with LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company for the statistical data (insights) generated in the process (Art. 26 GDPR). You can assert your rights both against us and directly against LinkedIn. Further information: LinkedIn privacy policy.
